After a few false starts and wondering if Gin & Jazz would ever happen. We’re happy to report that our first Gin & Jazz Festival launched over the weekend of Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th April! We’ve been overwhelmed by the support and success of this event and has set the standard for future events as we progress through this ‘new-world’ and restrictions.
The two days were fantastic! 15 Hope Distillery Gins to taste, an awesome line up of jazz entertainment boasting the likes of John Morrison’s Swing City Band featuring Jacki Cooper, The Aston Martinis, Half Nelson, Royal Australian Navy Band and The Djangologists, plenty of tasty food vendors, beautiful market stalls to shop, scenic helicopter rides courtesy of Hunter Valley Helicopters, Dog Rescue Newcastle bought along puppies to cuddle, buskers and patrons enjoying the sunshine, music and gin. Along with complimentary Face painting by Party Chameleon and jumping castle a thanks to Kids Amusements.
We are thrilled to announce that Hunter Valley Gin & Jazz Festival will return in 2022. Mark your calendars for Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd April, 2022! We look forward to seeing you all there!
