Hope Club Members & guests attend festive mid-year Christmas dinner at Hope Estate. Dressed in their best: from dinner dress to Santa themed suits, oh what fun was had at the Hope Estate Club Members ‘Christmas in July’ dinner, on Saturday 27th July 2019. The evening’s celebrations were a modern twist on your traditional Christmas celebration and guests were in for the theme.
Enjoying their favourite Hope wines on arrival in the Cellar Door, they were invited up to the historic Great Cask Hall for the main event. Decked out with a ‘white winter theme’ and including a few snow men, guests felt the excitement and sparkle that comes with celebrating Christmas. With spirit and jolly laughter abounding, guests enjoyed the twice cooked pork belly, char grilled scotch fillet and a dessert buffet of lollies and cakes. The spiced mulled wine, made with Hope’s iconic Hunter Merlot, and live music by Hunter Valley local musician Gareth Jay, saw the evening progress to couples dancing and singing along.
Molly Kearney, Club Manager said, “It’s so great to put a face to a name. I get to speak with many of our club members during the year and feel like I get to know them, but bringing them out and chatting and joking together during the evening is really wonderful. We’re so passionate about the Wine we’re offering and it’s just lovely to create a special setting like ‘Christmas in July’, to welcome them, and hear from Club members how they’ve been enjoying our range in their homes!”
Hope Wine Club offers members exclusive invitations to member’s events, functions and dinners. The next event is in celebration of sister winery Tower Estate at the Tower Spring Luncheon on Sunday 15th September 2019. Hope Wine Club members are welcome to attend by phoning 02 4993 3555 to purchase their tickets.
